D.E.T.T. stood for Dyke, Edwards, Taylor and Tony - members of Trouble Funk, the Go-Go band from Washington, D.C.

All D.E.T.T. Records were mastered in either Frankford/Wayne Mastering Labs in Philadelphia or Sterling Sound in New York and a lot, if not all of them, were pressed in New Jersey at Sound Makers.
